GrenadeBombs fell around my hole. People had been screaming since I stopped to listen to them again. My leg is broken in at least two spots, and my head is bleeding. The pencil in your hand bounced against the table with impatience as your eyes skimmed over the medical bill in front of you. Forgotten TempleThe forest was dead. The leaves had long since shriveled up and turned to dust. The bark on the trees was burnt black and barely held to the trees anymore. Many of the branches had broken off in the wind, and the ones left looked sickly and frail. The dry ground beneath was cracked thoroughly as far as the eye could see.
